I went to Margarita to visit my old boyfriend - from forty years prior. My fantasy was to find a room that was as un-hotel-like as possible and that is what he found me in this charming, immaculate little hotel... Mexican tile floors, a window that shut out light completely with wooden shutters, a hammock in the room, rustic built in furniture, stucco walls with dark ceiling beams, and a bathroom which was basically a tiled box, with a long hosed sprinkler attached to the toilet to be used as a bidet, as a foot washer - whatever - as the whole room drained. It was like a little cave. There were larger rooms on the second floor with hammocks on balconies and ocean views, but the room I had was perfection for me and I would look no further ever, The outside space is perfect as well and very conducive to just sitting outside and reading - like outdoor living room space. I am American but met no other Americans at the hotel. The included breakfast was a large production, which included exotic things like pourable yoghurt, fresh mozzarella (!), oranges and a juicer you could use yourself.... And the price can't be beat. For me
the trip centered not on touring around but on the pleasure of this little hotel....

costa linda beach was as described by other reviews, quiet, clean, pleasant, food was good both breakfast and evening meals. staff helpful and friendly. rooms very spacious comfortable and cleaned regularly. the hotel website stated tennis and bicycle hire available this was not true. staff said ! well thats advertising for you.! five minutes to the beach with free sunbeds, beach very long and shallow for some way out. the beach area is just a strip along one road, no town. the strip has restaurants and bars, some very poor. most of them seem to close when the sun goes down and any that stay open are very quiet. night life is dead. if you are there for the trips diving etc it is good, find peters place for local trips , the last but one bar along the beach to the left, a fun guy with a lot of local knowledge .

We really enjoyed our stay, excellent hotel on margarita island, we were visiting venezuela from atlanta and finished our trip by going to isla margarita. we looked at numerous hotels on margarita island before finding this one, and this was definitely one of the best.

That's a very good hotel. The decoration and the atmosphere is very special. We spent a week there, and I have no doubt that was the best choice!
