Me and my wife decided to go over to Zakinthos for the first time and were a bit apprehensive that we will be in the middle of all the students partying.
We were looking for a quiet spot in countryside but close to beach. Being 50m from Clear Blue Ocean and no noise (apart from local boats going past) this was the perfect spot.
We stayed in Poseidon which is one of the 1 bedroom units on top floor. View from here was pretty amazing. Room was very clean, and everything we wanted (needed) was here.
We greeted by our amazing hosts who actually lives in a house 50m away and even had some homemade Chocolate waiting for us in the fridge! They were ever so polite and were happy to advise and help on any questions we had.
There were about 4 Taverna’s (Restaurant/pub’s) within 5 min walk from us and supermarkets to buy any food from about 10mins walk (or 3 mins by car if you are lazy like us)
We used the Canoe which belongs to owners and even had a nap in the Hammocks that are scattered around in the garden. From here we travelled to every part of the Island and it was always easy to get back to our place as it’s not too far from one of the main roads.
We really enjoyed our stay and whether you have kids, Young or old, You will not be disappointed.
