“Very warm welcome at a farm with a nice history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

Arriving at Cools Farm we had a warm welcome and got a tour on the farm. The owners were really interested and showed us the cows. Our kids could look for the eggs which we eated probably next morníng. Room was big and nice. Breakfast lovely. We enjoyed our stay at Cools Farm a lot and can recommend to stay there. You won´t regret it!

“A night in a virtual museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2010

Cools Farm B&B was awesome. We felt like we were living a history lesson. Their home is almost 400 years old, and they have restored it beautifully, to the point you feel as though you are living in a museum. It was like staying in an old manor house. Maggie and her husband are sensational hosts, and do all they can to make your visit enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding. Our only disappointment was having only one night to stay there.

“Lovely....relaxing....step back in time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2010

I stayed two nights at Cools Farm as a base for doing some family history in the area. What can I say beautiful location...stunning farmhouse and very friendly hosts.
I stayed in the Edwards room which was very comfortable and which had lovely views of the pond and across the fields which looked stunning with the sun and early morning winter mist.
Lovey breakfast and a good chat about the local history.
I would thoroughly recommend this B&B.....a little bit different and a nice change from your run of the mill chain hotels.

“perfect little peice of paradise !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2010

absolutely fell in love with the place and its surroundings.
apart from our unfortunate timing (the great fly migration) cools was more homely then home.
we'll be back for sure.

“Tranquility, no more, no less”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2009

We stayed in the 'piggery' for a week. Self catering. We were lucky in having hot and sunny weather. We had taken our sun chairs so we could just rile the day away, on our private lawn. We were also lucky ,in that it ,was hay making time. A real insight to what the farmers ( ours was Quentin, the owner of the farm) have to do. I never realised the hard work and precision timing that has to go into haymaking. A lovely quiet location. Mobile phone signal hard to get at times. A village shop about a mile away in Hindon has just opened and the staff are very friendly. There you can buy the basic food you would require, to buy a weekly shop you would have to travel about 4 mile to Tisbury. All shops are there to meet all your requirements. Lots of country pubs for lunch or evening meals, in surrounding area.Excellant comfortable accomadation, other than the friendly chickens and the dogs and cat you have total privacy. For a real getaway from it all, no cars, no nothing, just nature, this is the best place to go to unwind and recharge your batteries.Very good location for walks and near to all places of interest . Maggie and Quentin are the perfect host whether it be in the house on a bed and breakfast basis or self catering in the 'piggery'. Their priority is to make your stay as welcoming and as comfortable as can be, and this they both do with a friendliness. and caring attitude.A perfect weeks holiday.
