We stay at Christina each time we visit Corfu. The Botsis Family are lovely and you are in safe hands staying with them. The location is to die for - right on the beach. The views from seaview rooms will keep you coming back year on year. The gentle sound of the ocean is very soothing and will have you relaxed in minutes.
The rooms are clean and although not fancy they have fridges which you can fill yourself with your drinks - no expensive minibar prices, Kettles and cups, a good bathroom with shower which WILL get the sand off you (not like the drips of showers I have experienced in Spain and UK before). VERY good prices!!

For a really relaxed, chilled out holiday, no need to look any further than Hotel Christina, Messonghi, Corfu. Situated in a sleepy village, right on the sea edge, look forward to opening the curtains in the morning to the sun rising over the mountains on the Greek mainland.
Named after the wife of the owner, Marcus Botsis, and now run by the two sons, Dimitri and Vasili, the hotel has been run by the same family since it was first built.
The hotel consists of just 16 rooms that are kept to a high standard of cleanliness by the long time cleaner.
No need for a pool when the clear blue sea is only 10 yards away.
The village itself has a fair range of good quality restaurants serving fresh food all day, and for an even wider range, Moratika is only a 10 minute walk.
All in all, this, for us, is the perfect relaxing beach hotel to help unwind from the daily grind of work.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Christina Hotel and could highly recommend it. This time we had a room which opened directly onto a single beach (you will need beach shoes to get into the water without hurting your feet). Our room was clean and comfortable and we had clean towels and sheets every other day. There are only around 16 rooms there and you get breakfast which consists of fruit juice and cereals, bread, cheese, ham and jam. There are also boiled eggs although they were rarely hot. Tea and Coffee as well. The breakfast room overlooks the beach so while you are eating your breakfast, you get a wonderful view of the sea and surrounding mountains. They do meals at lunchtime and in the evening which are reasonably priced and very tasty. The charge 2 Euro for a sun bed and 2 Euro for an umbrella. Messonghi is a quiet village, half a dozen taverns and a few bars but really quiet. If you want more nightlife, head up to Mortika which is only a short walk away. If you are looking for a quite, relaxing holiday destination, you can't go wrong.

This was our first trip abroad with with our 1 year old girl, and we had a very good experience despite some very unseasonal weather. The staff where friendly and attentive, which I think stems from the fact the hotel is family run.
The rooms where spacious and clean, and either look out of the Adriatic and mainland Greece or the well kept gardens.
Breakfast is served on the beach front, and is an ideal way to start your day. The resort has plenty of nice places to eat and drink, and generally has a very relaxed feel about the place. There is also a direct bus/boat route into Corfu town, which certainly worth exploring. The beach is very clean and the water calm and warm, which is ideal for youngsters.
