This small family run hotel is right on the beach. The views from the ocean front rooms are stunning looking over to mainland Greece. Its very quiet, and the general area is slow paced and lovely. The room we had was large on the second floor overlooking the ocean. The rooms are very reasonably priced , even with the addition of air conditoning in the off season of September. Beds were standard and quite hard. We had difficulty with the fridge and couldn't get it very cold till we had been there about three days. Two brothers now run this hotel. Vasilis is quick to anger when things don't go his way. His brother Demitris is far more diplomatic about things. The restaurant floors are washed every morning with bleach. Breakfast includes dry cereal, coffee, tea, juice, several types of juice, either hot boiled eggs, or cold ones, several varieties of bread and sliced meats and cheeses. The floors in our room were again washed in bleach as was the bathroom in our room. However, on a number of occasions, our room had been left unlocked by the maid. The chaise lounges and umbrellas were reasonably priced at 2 Euros each for use on the beach. Vasilis kept our passports which were just stuffed into a cubbyhole and left exposed to anyone walking by, which we loathed.Something more secure needs to be done about this. We also had to ask for our passports the night before as we were leaving at 05:00 a.m. the next morning.Demitris did not like releasing them prior to the actual time. We only ate supper twice in the restaurant and I don't think the owners liked this, as I think they wanted us eating there all the time. We were always approached when we returned from our supper as to where we had eaten. We chose other restaurants every night for a variety. We were given use of the computer in the hotel, and we appreciated that very much. Bed linens appeared to be washed every day as was our bathroom towels. We did notice that the coffee cups were not cleaned every day. We rented a car while on Corfu and toured and explored around the island to somewhere different every day we were there. There is a great little store across the street, and it carries all things a tourist would need and also food stuffs and drink items as well. There is a bakery that is adjacent.
