I'd like to know about security in this hotel:

1) Is there receptionist at the front desk all the time?

2) Does each room has safety box to keep the travel documents?

Every year we return to this part of Orient Beach. This is truely a perfect location. Very close to the beach (walk 2 minutes max). The rooms are basically the same as other nearby hotels with better furnishings, and a better more quiet air conditioning system. Gerard and Sylvia make this hotel very special. Very pleasant and very sincere in making sure that each guest is having a perfect time. We will certainly make this our top choice in the years to come.

We just got back from our third trip to St. Martin and have to say that it was by far the best one yet. We are in love with this island, and are now in love with Sylvia, Gerard and Guillaume & Le Grand Bleu. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, and our room had a lovely garden terrasse, where we enjoyed quiet breakfasts, listening to the ocean right at our door step. Gerard, Sylvia and Guillaume went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of and spent hours with us helping us with things like car rentals, restaurant recommendations and booking our return flight. We miss Le Grand Bleu, Gerard, Sylvia and Guillaume dearly and can't wait to go back to our 'second home'.

I've been coming to this hotel almost every year for ten years. I love the location and the convenience from the beach restaurants and bars to the stores where you can buy fresh croissants and baguettes. My wife loves the beach and gourmet restaurants located nearby in Grand Case. Over the years the hotel was declining gradually and hit it's nadir this summer. Fortunately, a new manager Gerard, has come to the rescue! Gerard is also a partial owner of the hotel. In the 10 days we were there in December, he was working non stop with his staff and contractors to get the hotel fixed, painted, and updated. In summation, this hotel offers great location, a nice clean room, and convenience. I believe it to be a very good value.
