We really enjoyed our stay at the Maltby on the Isle of Skye. Barbara was delightful and made us feel very much at home. She gave us great recommendations for must-see sights on the island and tasty restaurants. Barbara also provided wonderful tea and cake, and a scrumptious breakfast. The room that we stayed in had a great view and the bed was extremely comfortable. Barbara lets to only one party at a time so the other room was vacant - meaning we had the upstairs area and bath to our selves. The Isle of Skye and the Maltby are truly an experience that must be had.

Our group of 4 stayed at the Maltby house on 12 Upper Breakish,
Broadford, Skye in Scotland. Mrs. Poyser is a very kind and
friendly hostess. She gave us great ideas to choose from on
what we could see and do on the Isle of Skye in the limited
amount of time that we were there. We spent 2 nights at the
Maltby House. The bedrooms are decorated very nicely and we had
a shared bathroom equipped with a heated towel bar, fresh towels
both mornings, hair dryers in both bedrooms, designer soaps in
the shower and bathroom, electric water heater for making tea,
etc. The breakfasts were delicious and served at 8:15 each
morning but she was flexible on the timing if given advance
notice. There is a television in each bedroom and the main
parlor. Mrs. Poyser has done an excellent job with decorating
this bed & breakfast in a charming sea theme.

A lovely welcome; a pot of tea and delicious home-made cake. Barbara makes you feel really at home. The views from the lounge and bedrooms are superb, especially the sunset over the sea and the breakfast a real treat of home made preserves and local delicacies.
