Listen to the quiet, inhale the sea air, and embrace the warmth of instant friendship. That's what this lovely small hotel is all about. Here you have a retreat that lives up to its website promises. Family hospitality is unmatched. Views from each room straight on to the Aegean are unmatched, and if it's too hot for you, simply switch on the air conditioning or walk 100 meters and plunge into the sea. As for hospitality, I arrived during Independence Day weekend for Americans and dined on celebratory hot dogs and hamburgers that evening. In the morning I awoke to french toast followed, the next day, by pancakes, all topped off with maple syrup. A classy touch, and while not something that could be expected all the time, it shows what a thoughtful hosts Irene, Nikkos, and Anthula are. On another day, a Danish gentleman, who had speared an octopus, enjoyed it cooked to perfection that evening. You will not find such warmth and caring at the big hotels, or, for that matter, any of the other establishments on the island, but if you are looking for something small, quiet, and welcoming, this is the place. Yes, it's a short hike to town, but still close to everything you would want, which, in my case, was good food, peace, and family.
Room Tip: All rooms look straight out at the Aegean.
