“Lovely hotel ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

Stayed here Half-Board end September, as we got an excellent deal. The food was excellent, lots of choice, always hot and fresh. The chef cooks your eggs fresh as required in the morning and then most of the meat and fish in the evenings, so great. Bedroom was a decent size and plenty of wardrobe space. There was also a small fridge which we kept water in and milk for a cup of tea as I took my travel kettle, as I like a cuppa in the afternoon!
The view from the balcony was amazing, as you can see right over to Ibiza Town and at night it was lovely. We use to watch the cruise ships come and go as well as all the ferries. The swimming pool was excellent, very large so you could have a good swim, plenty of sunbeds too. Not many English tourists staying here, mainly Italian, German and Spanish, which was fine with us.

We use to always walk to Ibiza town and it took around an hour, but a lovely walk, and Ibiza Town is fab to explore and well worth visiting. You can get the bus outside the hotel for around 1.50 euros if you dont fancy walking. We even walked on from Ibiza to Playa En Bossa, which was some walk!! You can get a boat trip to Formentera from the port, prices range from £19 euros to around 46 euros.

Talamanca isnt really exciting, not much to do there, only a few hotels and restaurants. There is no where to walk in the evening which was a bit disappointing. The hotel had some entertainment a couple of nights a week which was nice, but if you are wanting a more lively night out then you would have to go into Ibiza Town. Talamanca Bay is a lovely beach and the sea was wonderful for swimming in.

We use the local buses to see St Antonio, which we didnt think much of (maybe because we were too old, and the club scene wasnt for us!) We have stayed in Es Canar before which we loved too, but decided to try another part of the island.

Overall, we loved this hotel, if only it wasnt as remote as it is, but would definitely return.

Room Tip: Most rooms are overlooking the pool, and you get sun all afternoon.

“Faultless, better than 3 star hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

We stayed here at the beginning of October for a long chill out weekend (post Ibiza parties and end of season). I was very pleasantly impressed with total service and quality of this 3 star hotel. Effortless check in? tick. Could we get into our rooms at 9 am? tick ( ok it may have been end of season). Were the rooms (and all of the hotel) spotlessly clean? Tick. Could I get great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast? Tick. Could I ask reception to book/ phone up the restaurants to see if they were open/ had space? Tick. On the last day we kept our luggage in the hotel while we went out, and they said we could have a shower when we returned. This is a very slickly run hotel, there were no signs that it was close to end of season. There were no signs of tiredness / neglect in the service or communal areas, and the staff display a friendly, professional attitude. We hired a car and there was free parking outside the hotel. This a cared for hotel at the high end of three star. Thank you hotel Victoria!

“Lovely hotel, good location”

We had a great 6 night holiday in Talamanca staying half board at the Victoria Hotel. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of Ibiza Town (although the bus which goes into the town, for 1.5 Euros, stops right outside the hotel) It was very clean and the food was good - especially breakfast! We paid for a sea view which was definitely worth it - with a view over the bay and the Old Town. We booked through Lowcost Holidays because they were cheaper than all the other sites we looked at, and didn't regret it. Will be booking the same hotel through them next year!

Room Tip: Sea view is wonderful

“Excellent hotel”

I'm just back from Ibiza. I recommend the area at this time of the year, as it's very quiet, but the place is still very much open for business.

The manager of the hotel is a top guy and it shows. The rooms and communal areas are very clean. The breakfast is good and doesn't finish until 11am, which is very handy if you're planning on a late night.

Spend the extra on a sea view. The hotel faces south, so it's important.

The location is great for a quiet holiday, with a bit of clubbing thrown in. If you plan on doing a lot of clubbing, you're probably better off closer to Ibiza town, as you'll save a few quid in taxis.

We tried the bus into Ibiza town. 1.50 each and it took ages. A taxi is 10 Euros and is fast. Pacha would be about six euros and you could certainly walk it, if caught out. Space is 15 euros during the day and 18 at night.

Access to the beach is a two minute walk from the hotel back door. The closest beaches are wonderful, shelving very gently and with no waves to speak of. Perfect for kids, in short. And me.

The food at Sa Punta is pricey but reasonable for good french cuisine. It's a ten minute stroll up the beach, with an impressive setting. Highly recommended.

There's a local shop around the corner, which is very reasonably priced. We found it great for bottled water and wine :-)

Room Tip: Get a sea view.

“Wonderful (stay, views, food & room!)”

Arrived at midnight, to be told no single rooms so was being given a double. This was a result.

The room was clean and tidy, with a fridge. A kettle would be nice.

The aircon was not powerful, but did the job. It might be a but warm
In hight of summer.

The breakfast was very good, and the fresh orange and cooked bacon and eggs was a real treat each day.

The hotel was 5 mins walk from the beech, and a bus stop was out the front. The location was brilliant and quiet.

The pool got the sun from 11 onwards.

I was very impressed with the hotel, and will be back.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.
