Stayed here Half-Board end September, as we got an excellent deal. The food was excellent, lots of choice, always hot and fresh. The chef cooks your eggs fresh as required in the morning and then most of the meat and fish in the evenings, so great. Bedroom was a decent size and plenty of wardrobe space. There was also a small fridge which we kept water in and milk for a cup of tea as I took my travel kettle, as I like a cuppa in the afternoon!
The view from the balcony was amazing, as you can see right over to Ibiza Town and at night it was lovely. We use to watch the cruise ships come and go as well as all the ferries. The swimming pool was excellent, very large so you could have a good swim, plenty of sunbeds too. Not many English tourists staying here, mainly Italian, German and Spanish, which was fine with us.
We use to always walk to Ibiza town and it took around an hour, but a lovely walk, and Ibiza Town is fab to explore and well worth visiting. You can get the bus outside the hotel for around 1.50 euros if you dont fancy walking. We even walked on from Ibiza to Playa En Bossa, which was some walk!! You can get a boat trip to Formentera from the port, prices range from £19 euros to around 46 euros.
Talamanca isnt really exciting, not much to do there, only a few hotels and restaurants. There is no where to walk in the evening which was a bit disappointing. The hotel had some entertainment a couple of nights a week which was nice, but if you are wanting a more lively night out then you would have to go into Ibiza Town. Talamanca Bay is a lovely beach and the sea was wonderful for swimming in.
We use the local buses to see St Antonio, which we didnt think much of (maybe because we were too old, and the club scene wasnt for us!) We have stayed in Es Canar before which we loved too, but decided to try another part of the island.
Overall, we loved this hotel, if only it wasnt as remote as it is, but would definitely return.
