This is a good hotel if you want to stay somewhere quiet so you can relax when not partying.There is a nice beach near the front of the hotel.

It is a 15-20 minute walk to some nice bars overlooking Ibiza town and you can get the bus into Ibiza town (think they are every half an hour until about 11pm). We ended up getting a taxi into Ibiza town from where we could get the party buses to the big clubs. This was ok for a week but if you are going for longer/going out a lot it might get annoying.

The hotel is a good standard. I would recommend getting the half board option as the food is great and better value than eating out. We paid extra for a sea view, which I think was worth the money given we drank on the balcony before going clubbing and the view was very good. However, be aware that some "sea view" rooms have a big palm tree in front which blocks the view somewhat, although as pointed out you can still see bits of the sea!!!!!!!!!!!!! We managed to move room after a night luckily. The pool area is nice but it would be better if you could change the sun loungers so you could sit up and read!

Stopped at the Simbad 1st Week of October and what a nice suprise.
We have previously stoppped in another hotel in Tallamanca Bay for many years and walked past the Simbad many times, this year we finally decided to book it.
On arrival at 1am we were greated with a warm smile and advised that food had been set aside for us due to our late arrival.
This service continued throughout our stay and was clearly the standard that the staff were pleased to offer.
The Hotel is very clean with a cosmopolitan feeling that runs throughout the hotel and whilst our room was basic it was clean and comfortable with all amenities available, if you book a mid floor with sea views there is also the benefit of excellant views across the bay

With so many Hotels on offer it is clear that the Family run "Simbad" has found its way through good food and excellant service. Congratulations, we will book again

My partner and I recently travelled to Ibiza and on our last day our flight was cancelled. We had been staying at the Argos hotel across the bay (!!) but as this was fully booked we had to find alternative accomodation. We walked in to the Simbad and were immediately greeted warmly. We told them of our predicament and asked if they had any rooms and to our relief (and joy), they did.

What a lovely surprise!! The room was sea facing (fantastic view), and it was clean and modern. Such a refreshing change from the Argos!!!
The pool area is good even if the beds are uncomfortable, the beach is fine and the location fantastic!

Breakfast is good with freshly cooked eggs and a wide selection of cold cuts, pastries, fruit etc and we found the staff helpful and polite.

I just wish we'd stayed here for the length of our holiday instead of just the one night!

After originally booking to stay in playa den bossa (ebano apts) we soon realised we chose the wrong hotel, it was awful with lots of groups and constant music until 5am! On the last 2 days of our holiday we decided to book the hotel simbad!! We were so glad we did, the location was absolutely perfect for us, as a couple we were far away enough from the madness but still close enough to ibiza town.


The hotel only had non sea view rooms availiable and this wasn't a problem for us as we were just happy to be in such a lovely hotel with welcoming staff. The room was a good size, with a powerful shower and great hairdryer (even better than my own!) the only downside is that it was a little warm at night when you sleep so you have to always have the aircon on. The bed was very comfortable aswel.

Breakfast is a buffet style, which was excellent with very fresh orange and omlettes etc being made freshly for you. The evening buffet was 18 euros per person without drinks and was also excellent, but i would reccomend the Olivia Restaurant in Dalt Villa, ibiza town. We got a taxi into the town which was about 10 euros, theres also a bus every 60mins to the town from the top of the road.

if you're a couple that want a gorgeous beach resort that is laid back but within 10 mins taxi ride from the best restaurants and bars around this is perfect!
