We stayed 3 nights here.
The B&B is set in lovely grounds and the converted rooms offer lots of character. The location (despite proximity to the airport) is peaceful.
However, it felt a little like there was lots more the place could offer. Whilst the owners and staff were very pleasant, service was a little haphazard. For instance, because the owners work during the daytime, the hospitality was a little hit and miss. Another minor gripe was that on our departure day, we went to breakfast only to return to our room hoping for a brief rest before packing up, and instead we found that the cleaners had already partially started stripping the room down - this didn't make for a particularly restful departure. Also for the price charged, it would have been more pleasant if the shower curtain did not contain mildew or the bathroom products were a little more imaginative than those sourced from Lidl.
As an aside, there was a minor issue with flies - there seemed to be lots of them constantly!
However, these gripes are minor only and it is impressive that the housekeeper (Katy), an elder lady, manages to supervise breakfast as well as all of the cleaning.
The positives include a lovely pool, fabulous grounds, good breakfast, honesty bar (fully stocked) and a very characterful property.
Overall, worth a stay if only for a few nights.
