The hotel was very clean and we had a lovely large bedroom and bathroom. It was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We stayed here on a Sunday and found the super market across the road closed. we went back into Brest and found everywhere here was closed so we was very dissappointed. we managed to find a small shop to buy wine and then decided to head back to the hotel as it had started to rain and we was travelling on a bike. The weather got worse and we decided to eat at the hotel. We went down around 7.30 to find the only person around was the man on reception. I asked him if we could get something to eat and he said he would be with us in a minute. We went back to the bar and the man appeared and showed us to a table and took our drink orders. when he gave us the menu's he came back to us with a french phrase book to help us with the menu. A few more people started to come in then and the very nice man was brilliant at his job and keeping eveyone happy. I must say the food here was amazing and the service even better. Breakfast was good as well. Overall after reading some reviews on here from the past they have spent a lot of time and money making this hotel clean and comfortable. I would gladly stay here again and eat there as well. shame about the weather and it being a Sunday but i think most of France closes on a Sunday. We would visit Brest again but after they have finished putting in the tram lines. I must point out that we stayed in the main part of the hotel as there is a annex at the back so i cant comment on the rooms in there but we had a great stay. (There was a very small swimming pool here as well.)
