The hotel residents are mainly construction professionals who work in the area during the week. Expect to find dozens of "plumber and painter vans" in the parking, which diminish the "on vacation" feeling!
Moreover, the reception has a nasty tendency to force you to "buy" a more expensive room:
we had booked a large 1 bedroom apartment for 4 people. On arrival, they wanted us to upgrade and pay for a "2-bedroom" one for 7 people which costs double! After minutes of negotation and threats to cancel, they accepted that we go back to our original 1 bedroom apartment.
Otherwise, the hotel is not bad, is pollution free and there are lots of tiny restaurants and shops around, plus it's close to Marcel Pagnol's magnificient county. The (small) pool is lovely, the duplex rooms are confortable and equiped, there is no Air-conditionning though. A car is definitely recommended.
