the food was ok but nothing we would not have at home, very small quanties, not a place to visit if you have an appetite. The carafe of water smelled strongly of chlorine, when I told the manager she said that we should have chosen a bottle of mineral water. I assume that this over-chlorinated tap water is what they use in the kitchen for cooking. We did enjoy a fine glass of white Irrouleguy wine, although the half-bottle at 35 euros did seem extravagant.
