We booked this hotel at the last minute in France as we wanted a convenient stopover on the long trip to Cherbourg. We thought Saumur would be a good place and this hotel was very cheap. It was quite hard to find being in the middle of a shopping complex and it is quite a way from the city itself but once we found it it turned out to be just right. The rooms were new and spotless, beds comfortable. It was quiet being in the middle of a car park but it was bank holiday and no shops were open. Saumur was a lovely town and well worth a stop over.
