July 2011. We were very disappointed with our room compared to what we saw on the internet which was very misleading. It was very dark, cold and dreary. The bathroom was below standard. The breakfast was alright, croissants and juice e.t.c was available but nothing special. The coffee was only instant. We had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel which was smart and comparatively high standard but at the appropriate price. I was very impressed with the management by sending by post to me my expensive hair straighteners that i had foolishly left behind! Thats worth alot!!

“Very good hotel, excellent restaurant”
We were offered a choice of rooms and chose one at the front with an excellent view over the Aubrac plateau - the rear rooms look out over the pool and poorly tended grounds. Room was comfortable with a large bed but no air conditioning.
Restaurant Chez Camillou is superb - despite staying demi-pension the menu which was changed daily was of excellent quality - great value for money! Wines were excellent and well kept although quite pricey.
Service was friendly and professional throughout both the hotel and restaurant.
We will be back!
