Five us visited the pier hotel for an evening meal as we were going to a show at gorleston pavillion that evening, we can highly recommend the hotel for a very good meal at a reasonable price, the choice of the menu was excellent the waiter service was second to none and all staff were very polite, the bar and restaurant was very clean and laid out very well we will definitely visit again when we are in the area, we can highly recommend this hotel to everyone pc4925

Stayed for a Thursday & Friday night. Was able to find easy parking in hotel car park. Rooms were very clean. Food & service was excellent. Menu had large selection of options with daily special available. Reasonably priced. Jazz band on Thursday night & 90's evening on Friday night - did not stay for these but did not disturb us in our rooms. Hotel is just a few yards from a long sandy beach. Very helpful staff. Hotel built in 1897 so no lift but this was not a problem.

Found the pier hotel by accident while out driving. Decided to have our evening meal there. The restaurant was very clean and the a la carte menu very varied. My wife has a wheat intolerence but it was no problem for the chef to knock up a flour free sauce to accompany her meal.
Staff were very attentive - but not intrusive and the food when it arrived was excellent. All reasonably price as well. Two main meals with 4 drinks came to just over £30. If there was a slight downside it was the fact that the restaurant is screened from the bar by partitioning and it did get a little noisy at times.
