Good value hotel - the rooms are small, but that's to be expected. Staff are friendly, although they spoke a lttle english. Location is great!

I stayed here for 10 days as I traveled around Tokyo. It is right next to Sensoji Temple and close to numerous JR and subway stations. The Ginza Line is right outside the door. The staff is friendly, though the English was limited. It's best to have some Japanese language skill, however, even with my limited Japanese, I was able to communicate no problem. The rooms are small, but clean. The staff cleans every day after 10 am. There is a washer/dryer, but the dryer is not very strong. Would not recommend trying to dry heavy clothes like jeans and such. Overall a pleasant experience for the money.
This is a spacious, clean, plain hotel with a friendly and polite staff who speak some English. We stayed in a semi double room with a double bed, television with only Japanese channels, a clean but small bathroom with a hairdryer, and a small fridge. The room was comfortable and the lobby contains a free computer for guest use. Although we had a street facing room, we didnt hear any noise from either the street or other hotel guests.
The location of the hotel is convenient for Asakusa area sights and transport to central and western Tokyo districts. A few feet from the hotel's entrance are the Kaminarimon and Nakamise dori leading to Sensoji Temple. A few feet in the opposite direction is the entrance to the metro via the Ginza line.
For dining options, there are number of tasty, inexpensive eateries and restaurants all around the hotel.
