This hotel has everythin' u wud want when choosin' a hotel. 1stly: it's huge!. Stayed @ the 38th floor & there's more!. Rooms r clean but can be small, so be sure to book the deluxe rooms tt r bigger. The only setback is tt the windows r sealed & the air can get staled coz the airflow is a little weak. Fyi, this was in Dec(winter time). Well furnished supermart on the ground fl. tt's abt 20 steps fm the elevator!. Rests r located on the ground & basement. Staff r friendly & helpful. 2ndly: Another 30 paces fm the supermart, u'll find yrself enterin' a shoppin' centre wz lots of great food rests!!. The shoppin' centre offers a wide variety of interests like shoes, clothin', cafes, rests, souvenirs, bookstore & so forth. On the other end of the shoppin' centre is an office bldg. 3rdly: Out fm the bldg, across the road, there're lots of eateries & shoppin' centres. Quite a number of gd ramen & bento rests tt open till late. 4thly: the main station - Ikebukero is located here. It's basically a straight walk once u cross the road fm the shoppin' bldg into Ikebukero. I wus estimate a leisure 12-15 mins walk. This stretch of road is jam packed durin' peak hrs right up till abt 9pm!. Fm Ikebukero station, u can move on to other places of interests like Disneyland & Shinjuku. Needless to say, the shoppin' centre abv the station is awesome!. Lots of gd buys fm the basement where the pastries, cakes & so forth r sellin' like hot cakes to both the locals & foreigners(read as tourists) alike!.Almost every nite, it's packed!. Lastly, u can catch the bus fm the hotel entrance to the a/port!. What u nid to do is to book in advance @ the main counter upon check in.

So, I wud say, this hotel has abt everythin'. Wud surely stay in this hotel again, ie., if I'm in Ikebukero!.

Overall, it is such a nice hotel because of its reasonable price.
After the unfortunately and shocking disaster arose in Japan, many hotel+flight packages was being promoted with the big sale prices.
We stayed in the semi double room(1 double bed), the size is hardly enough for 2 persons and our stuff. (we had bought tons of stuff in this shopping trip)
The room is clean and tidy, I espeacilly appreciate the neating skill of the hotel staff, since every morning we had turned the room as a dump and they can fix it up.
And also they provide a disinfecting spray in each room and it smell good, green tea flavour.
I try to have bath with some hot spring bath powder in the bathroom, but the ventilation system is terrible, i thought i could died for this reason.
One more thing, the view from our room is nice, as my friend had requested for staying on a higher floor.

I got this hotel deal with flight via a travel agency. Here are what you probably should know:

1) no free internet. Actually, most places don't have free internet. This was one of the main complaint for Tokyo. You can pay for the use of internet or computer with the hotel counter.
2) There are tons of shopping drug store types open late near the JR station. They open about 8 or 8:30am all the way to about 10 or 10:30pm.
3) There is a Japanese version of Walmart called 24 hour SEIYU about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It is on the back side of the Prince Hotel, you can get to it by cross through the Sunshine City Mall.

4) The beds are soft, small, and not perfect. But when we booked the room, they already told us the bed is full sized bed.
5) There is free mini-fridge in the room to use as well.
6) The room is clean though, and the staff is nice.
7) The airport limousine from Haneda stops right at the front door for 1200yen/person/way.

Overall for what we paid for, this is very good deal. I would recommend this hotel to people as well just because the location.

This hotel could use some updating. The lobby is especially tired looking and lacking in seating. The service, however, was quite good during our stay. Our room was small, but workable and it had a nice view of the city. The bathroom was one of those modular units stuck in the corner of the room; it had nice amenities, a deluxe toilet and a very small tub. The included breakfast buffet had a very large selection of Japanese and western food.

The hotel is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from Ikebukuro train station, and is also connected by underground walkway to the Higashi Ikebukuro subway station. The hotel is also directly connected to the Sunshine City complex; you have access to tons of dining, shopping and entertainment options without ever stepping into the open air. The surrounding area has additional shopping, dining and entertainment (mostly arcades). Ikebukuro probably isn't the ideal location for touring Tokyo, but we found a lot to like about it.
