We chose this hotel because we managed to book it at a discount and it did not disappoint us overall. Generally, staff were friendly and helpful. There were a few fluent English speaking staff at the front desk.
We had a room for 3 adults on the 29th Floor. There were two single beds (large) and one rollaway. Room size was big enough to accommodate all of us. It would be good if the hotel could change the curtain in the room - looked worn out!! Bathroom ceiling was low though for those who are tall. Don't expect to have normal size bath tub here - it's small. Only green tea is given in the room. No coffee provided. There was free wifi at the lobby area and limited to 30 mins per use but hotel staff were able to increase usage time when we approached them. There are a few paid computer kiosks at the lobby - 100Yen for 10 minutes. Airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel, so is pick up. You can book and buy your limousine ticket at the hotel. There is a Family Mart near the hotel lobby and a supermarket (Seiyu) at the South Entrance of Sunshine City. Burger King, McDonalds and other eateries can be found at Sunshine City.
.
It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to/from Ikebukuro Station. Lots of things to see along the way. The station itself is huge with many exits and there are departmental stores and shops linked to this station. So for those getting down at Ikebukuro Station, make sure you know which exit to take.
I will hesitate to stay here again for my next visit.
