If you're looking for some peace and quiet amid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, this hotel would be a great choice. Less than 5 minutes from the train station, the newer of the two Toyoko Inns is easy to find. Just check the skyline. The rooms were well cleaned every day. I prefer a firm mattress, and this hotel had one of the hardest I've slept on. It sure felt good after a day of touring Tokyo. The walls were somewhat thin, but I've been in worse. (It's nice to know Japanese men snore, too). About three blocks down the street is a supermarket where you can stock up on supplies. It has a 100 yen store above it with a very large selection. The rice balls, miso soup, and coffee help you get the day started. A McDonald's and Mos Burgers are nearby.
