This hotel is your standard Japanese business hotel. It has friendly staff, clean but small rooms with a TV, AC, mini bathroom, slippers, toothbrush, etc. Business hotels like this one are great for people who are not bringing huge bags, and who do not need special care and attention from concierge.
One advantage this hotel has over some of the others in the area is that it has been recently renovated. There is also a convenience store in the same building. Great when you need a midnight snack.
The only problem with this place is that is is a little far from the main hub of Shinjuku. This is the business/government side of Shinjuku Station. It is only a ten minute walk from Shinjuku JR (Japan Rail) station, but you need to get out at the right exit (I would suggest South Exit - when you come out of the South Exit you can just turn right and walk along that main road until you find the hotel). There are lots of department stores and restaurants all around the station, so it is not hard to find something to eat. The other side (East), however, is much more lively, so if that is what you are looking for, you might want to look at hotels on the other side.
