We stayed here 3 nights while in Japan and while the location was decent, that was about all this place had going for it. Our room was unbelieveably small (I know we are in Japan but I still need to move around our "double" (aka twin) bed, outdated furnishings, the bed and pillow were like sleeping on rocks and it had a bad odor (previous guest's BO?). I found the staff to be very cold and relatively unhelpful and while I do not expect them to know fluent English, I would expect that as they are in the tourist industry, they should have some working level of the language. Would defintiely not recommend staying here.

This hotel has a good location basically next door to the underground station and about 10 minutes walk from the main Shinjuku station. Rooms were typically Japanese size (small) but comfortable. Adequate breakfast available. Efficient staff.

This hotel was located close to Shinjuku station, multiple 7/11 type stores, numerous places to eat, and close to the subway and JR lines. The staff spoke English well, and for a deposit you could get a wifi hotspot in your room. We stayed in a three person room, and it was very spacious for a Tokyo hotel. Great value and great location. I would definately stay here again.

They are clean and the bed is comfortable.

The bathroom is well designed, if small.

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the main station in Shinjuku so is a great jumping-off point to see stuff in Shibuya and Yoyogi.

The reception staff speak English and are able to help if needed.

Worth noting that the TV's in the room are nice and if you want to unwind after a long day at work like I did - the ability to plug in your laptop/iPad via HDMI to the TV and watch some movies/shows is very cool. Have found most hotel TVs have HDMI ports, but most dont let you watch your own stuff for some reason.
