We booked this hotel because of it's proximity to Ginza and the metro, and because it had breakfast included. Should've paid closer attention to the reviews on Trip Advisor. The bed was indeed hard as a rock, literally. Both my friend who I was traveling with and I had trouble sleeping because the bed was so uncomfortable. In addition, the room stank of cigarette smoke, even though it was sold as a non-smoking room. Major pet peeve!! I could feel myself starting to get sick from the smoke smell, then when I finally crawled into bed, I discovered that the sheets smelled of smoke, too! I tried to open the door, only to be blasted with the sound of the bullet train down below. So the choice was: suffocate in the room with the window closed and live with the stench of cigarette smoke, or not sleep at all because of the loud train outside. I had to opt for the former because I was so exhausted. Just sprayed the room and the sheets with some perfume to try to mask it. The breakfast was also nothing impressive. If you're trying to pick a reasonably priced hotel, and think going with this one is a steal because breakfast is included, think again. There are tons of reasonably priced cafe's throughout the city to get a cup of coffee and a light meal in the morning that you shouldn't have a problem. Spend your money on a place where the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
Room Tip: Don't stay here. I've heard the Hotel Okura, Tokyo Dome, and ANA Tokyo are much, much bette...
