“A great business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

I spent a week here on business. Service and facilities were terrific. Located in the Roppongi Hills complex, there are lots of choices for restaurants. The rooms are spacious with the usual array of bathroom gadgetry and a kind of 'wet room' shower. I really enjoyed the breakfasts - not a massive selection, but a really good egg bar. Service was unobtrusive, but effective.

“Excellent Location and a lot to Offer”

First of all, I also stayed the famous Park Hyatt. To be honest Hotel Park Hyatt is a better Hotel than Grand Hyatt in many ways including room quality, view, service...etc.(Do not understand me wrong Grand Hyatt quality also very very good) BUT in my next visit to Tokyo I will still stay in Grand Hyatt because it in in a very centered location and has many many good restaurants and bars around it. Thats why I review this Hotel as Excellent. In Park Hyatt you will be bored inside the Hotel but in Grand Hyatt Neverrrr. Overal it is a very good hotel. I highly recommend the Tepenyaki restaurant it is amazing. The bars are also very good.
So for couples, friends, business and solo I definitely recommend this hotel. You will not regret it. Especially If you are into nightlife then do not stay anywhere else.

“Hits the spot again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I've stayed at Grand Hyatt Tokyo many times over the last four or so years, for work and play. This review pertains to a one night stay in January 2012 with my wife.

Once again it was excellent in every respect. The service is impeccable from arrival to departure, always there but never in your face. We had a grand king room. These rooms are quite spacious for an inner city hotel and the bathrooms are very luxurious, and the great thing is it all looks as if it was built yesterday, these rooms are stylishly appointed to a high quality and have been maintained in such good condition.

We had a deal which we found on a Japanese website, for a JPY40,000 and change it was bed and breakfast at the delightful French Kitchen restaurant downstairs, which is spot on for buffet breakfast. While not cheap, for a ritzy place like this, I reckon it does represent exceptional value.

Other things haven't changed. The location is still an ideal base for work or play in Tokyo. The Roppongi Hills shopping centre that the hotel sits on top remains fresh and fun. Oak Door bar is still a popular destination on Friday night. If you're looking to go all out in Tokyo, or just treat yourself to a great night or two, the Grand Hyatt is the place.

“Faultless”

We stayed 1 night at the Grand Hyatt in a Grand King room. Having stayed at several Tokyo hotels I can without a doubt say that whilst expensive, the Grand Hyatt is worth every cent if you're looking for 5 star quality.
Rooms are larger than they look in pictures, very modern bathrooms with huge shower/bath area. Bed was a dream to sleep on & black out curtains are a great bonus. We had a view of Mount Fuji from level 5.
The location is ideal in a beautiful, modern area of Tokyo - you can access Roppongi Hills shopping area from within the hotel.
While we didn't eat at the hotel the Oak Door Bar is a fantastic place for a drink with a huge wine selection & fast, tasty cocktails (but not cheap!). We have always experienced excellent service at the Oak Door even if not staying in the hotel & just dropping in for a drink.
If you can afford the price tag or find a good deal the Grand Hyatt should be at the top of your list for Tokyo hotels.

Was here on a business trip and although the Grand Hyatt here in Tokyo is somewhat pricey but the service and staff is impeccable. Well looked after and a very grand hotel all in all. Greatly located in Roppongi.
