I had a room with a double bed. The room was very small but clean and had everything I needed. Very little room for luggage, could not keep bag open and not much space for putting clothes. The bathroom had disposable razor blades, toothbrush and toothpaste etc. Internet connection in the room. The location is good, near the subway. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area---it is Ginza after all. Breakfast was included and was quite OK. The breakfast service was friendly and quick.. Breakfast was served in the San Michel restaurant attached to the hotel and I found it pleasant enough. Eggs, toast, coffee or tea, small salad, and juice. Although the room was small it was a very good price for Tokyo. I was alone and the room would not have been big enough if I was with my wife and luggage for the two of us. My room was quiet. Not a good place for people who like large rooms. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I recently spent a week inTokyo and stayed at the Monerey LaSoeur in the Ginza. Location is everything. Only a 10 minute walk from the Tokyo JR station and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Ginza. We extended our stay by a day and the hotel had no problems filling that request. Before going, I did ask if the hotel was smoke free, I was assured it was, but the smell of tobacco was heavy in the corridors, but our room was fine.

One block away from Ginza street, 5 min from metro station , 10 from Yurakucho station and walking distance from Tokyo station. It is even easy to walk to the fish market (30 min). Clean but small rooms , I cannot see how you can fit 2 people with 2 suitcases in a double room, it is very small , even the ceilling is low! But for one person , it is ok. Very quiet. Breakfast room is too small , you may have to wait to have breakfast (1500 yens). Many coffe shops around, so I think it is best to go there
Paid $130 /night for 6 night so I consider it is a great value too. Recommended!

Our family stayed here for 4 days in December 2010. We had to book 3 rooms for 5 people so got to compare the different types. The double street facing room was the largest and the other 2 (single & double rear facing) were comfortable even though small. We were only in our rooms from late in the evening till early morning so the size didn't bother us. No problems with heating as others have mentioned. Staff were friendly and even directed us to good restaurent around the corner. They also stored our bagage free before a late afternoon flight. Communication was no problem even though they didn't speak much english an us Japanese. Five mins walk to the nearest Subway station and 15 mins to the Yamamote line station.
I would recomend this hotel for anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of the Ginza
