Stayed here with my family for 5 nights. Generally a business hotel, but was fine for a few nights while on vacation. We had an executive floor suite - of course the rooms (like the rest of the hotel) had the corporate-like feel, but nothing to complain about - very clean and actually quite spacious. Although hotel is ready for a reburb now and probably has been for the last 5 years or so.
Staying on the executive floor meant we had access to the free drinks/canapes at 5pm - I think the whole floor runs over at 5pm to grab a few free nibbles. Great little snacks (the first few that come out) but which then get a bit ropey as the evening goes on and the selection of alcoholic drinks/wines is limited. Any business class lounge would beat it by miles.
Whilst the location is perfect for the airport, you just step off the TCAT from Narita and you are pretty much at the hotel, when visiting Tokyo again, I'd stay somewhere a little more exciting such as Shibuya. But the surrounding area was pretty interesting itself - has a few small temples/shrines that are worth a visit, just not too many restuarants for dinner in the evenings.
Good sized gym and great little running track outside. Enjoyed the pool too. Although I was told off by the attendent at the desk for wearing my dressing gown provided in the room down to the pool... apparantly you MUST change into your bathing suit in the changing rooms rather than your hotel room - bit of a strange rule, but there you go!
Room Tip: Teppinyaki restuarant on top floor is very good too (and great views of Tokyo also).
