Biz hotel. Thanks to advice I recieved from Route246. Just like Tokyu Stay Shibuya which I stayed last June, clean, convenient and comfortable. In-room internet access, fridge, washer, dryer, etc. Good breakfast though the same egg, cabbage, bread and cereal but fresh and clean. Shibuya will have a better breakfast area, like a cafeteria compared to Nihombashi which is at the lobby area.
My 12-yr-old daughter sleeps with us free, one double and one twin bed, good for three person. These beds are joined together, to save space I think, good for family. a samll table for food and drinks, a working area for the laptop, and a separate area for the kitchenette, no complaint at all.
Location wise, we walked 5-10 min to Kanda station every morning. Easy walk, passing through convenient stores and many food stores near Kanda. Good weather. The other alternative is a 2-minute walk to Nihombashi station (just round the corner) but usually have to tranfer at Tokyo station for most of the routes. Tokyo station is a big station, will end up walking even more. However if got to take the train with luggages at peak hours, watch out! Also Nihombashi station is underground and has no lift or escalator. We arrived at Nihombashi from the airport, no transfer, but got to carry luggages up the stairs. Thus we left from Kanda for our Shinkansen at Tokyo station.
These are my only two trips to Tokyo and I have chosed Tokyu Stay again due to its cleaniliness and spaciousness as I did not want to end up in a small and not-so-clean room for the same price.
