I have over the years stayed in many different hotels in Tokyo, including various budget hotels. The Comfort Inn Higashi Nihombashi is one of the best choices you have when visiting this city. The hotel is right next to an exit of the JR Sobu Yokosuka Line which you can take directly from Narita Airport. In addition the hotel is walking distance to the Shinjuku Subway line and Asakusa Subway Line (5 minutes) and Hibiya Line (10 Minutes). The neighbourhood is Tokyo's fashion wholesaler district and has many small stores. There is a convenient store right next to the hotel. Restaurants are however a bit scarce and you may need to take the subway to e.g. Shinjuku. The rooms are typical tiny size for a Japanese business hotel but very clean and well equipped with electric kettle and fridge. Internet service is good but does not allow VPN connection to access an MS Outlook Exchange Server. Hotel has 2 PCs in the lobby and you can print b/w for free. TV has only Japanese channels. Newspaper offer is Japanese only. Breakfast buffet is very good. Hotel also has a guest laundry with washers and dryers.

Nothing more to add from other reviews, except, for those of us who can't seem to get our internal clocks adjusted to Tokyo time, and are wide awake at 1am, there is no English speaking TV. Every other Tokyo hotel I've stayed in has at least CNN. Thank goodness I have an iPad. The in-room wifi is excellent and I was able to stay connected to the world. I would stay here again. The pro's far exceed the disadvantage of no CNN.

Stayed here for 2 nights because of the positive reviews and low price (about $120 USD/nt). Hotel staff were friendly and spoke decent English. The room was very clean and warm when I arrived, but quickly cooled down once the A/C was turned on. However, the room was very small - but I was prepared for that and spent little time there anyway. Great location in central Tokyo- subway station is next to the hotel and it's a short walk underground to two subway lines - can even get a direct subway line to Haneda Airport (about 40 min away), which I did to and from this hotel. There's a 7-11 convenience store next to the hotel. Also, the hotel has a nice free hot, big breakfast buffet in the morning and free wifi. Beds were a little firm but rooms were quiet.
I would definitely stay here again.
