“central location can't save this place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

The best thing about this hotel is indeed its central location. The metro stop is just across the road and all convenient lines to get to other areas stop there.
On arrival we were shown a double room with one bed while we had requested twin beds. Unfortunately no twin beds were available for that night so we could switch rooms after our first night (we stayed 6 nights in total). In this way we have seen both the double and twin rooms. Both were really small and the layout wasn't always as clever. It felt very cramped. Both rooms looked kind of tired and run down although they were clean.
Service at the front desk was ok, nothing too remarkable compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed in. During our trip throughout Japan we have stayed in several different hotels, ranging from luxury to a stay at a temple, but this was in fact our most disappointing stay. The hotel is too large and business like, the rooms are too small and apart from its location nothing was really outstanding. Since the hospitality standard in Japan is rather high, there must be better options in Tokyo for the same price.

“Nice Dine-Out District, Right in front of Akasaka Station (Metro Ginza Line & Marunouchi Line)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

First of all, the location is wonderful. Easy to find, good metro access, located in central part of Tokyo. Akasaka is nice place for stay for business people, for it is much quieter than huge station like Shinjuku or Shibuya, easy to go through the station.
The hotel itself is very efficient, the room is spacious enough, nice bed and bath. Since this hotel has many options, when you book you should aware of room types. The hotel has many rooms without bathtub, just shower booth, which is yet unusual in Japan. The price is reasonable for its quality.
At 1st floor there's Seven Eleven Convenience Shop where you can draw Japanese money with international credit card. Also there's coffee shops, wine bars, sake bars, sandwich shops, etc, in the neighborhood.

“Good and affordable hotel in Tokyo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

I stayed here for a business meeting. The hotel can be easily reached from Narita airport with the Limousine bus (which stops at the hotel). Good: good quality restaurant, very helpful and friendly staff. Not so good: you cannot open the windows so you're dependent on the A/C which was not switched on when I was there. Also, the rooms are quite small (I stayed in a single room). However overall I had a good experience. Internet is free and very reliable.

“good if you choose the right room,”

The hotel is good to reach by Limousine bus from Narita Airport. The rooms can be quite small if you do not choose a full double. Internet is free and the location is good and close to Akasaka business district. There is a charge for early check in - As most of the european flights get in to Tokio very early - you need to pay an extra if you want to get into the room before 2 pm. If you book the ANA you do not have to pay this! I did not go for the breakfast as there was always a huge line at the restaurant. There are better and much cheaper alternatives for breakfast very close to this hotel

“Not really for the tourist”

I stayed in this hotel for three nights on a business trip. All my expenses were paid so I can't really comment on value for money.
The hotel rooms were adequate but there were no non-smoking rooms available and the smell was terrible. Wish I'd thought to ask for non-smoking. The bed was extremely firm, the pillows good and the window opened so I could get fresh air. The tv had many Channel's but only one English one (BBC news) so a bit boring. you could buy movies if you wanted.
There is free wifi in the lobby for only 10 minutes very 3 hours. There are computers you can use for ¥100 for 15 minutes. I found the taff helpful but their English was not great.
There is a 7/11 downstairs and ATM in there too. The hotel is not in a shopping district but rather a restaurant district. If you cross the road and walk behind the buildings that line the street you'll find the streets teeming with people looking for dinner.
The subway is very close. Taxi's readily available and a Starbucks along the street a bit. There is also a Hooters in the building.
If you are looking for a fun evening go to the Ninja restaurant which is on the corner near the hotel.
