“Small, Hip, Reasonable... Perfect”
My partner and I traveling with two other friends all stayed at the Remm Hibiya, in Tokyo. The location is amazing. Location is awesome: just a few blocks from the Ginza strip (imagine NYC 5th Ave on steroids), a block from the Ginza restaurant strip that runs along the train tracks (where you'll find every imaginable kind of food), right off the Imperial Palace grounds, and otherwise very central to everything.
The rooms were very clean, modern, space efficient and comfortable. The two of us shared a standard room, with just one double sized bed. It was tight maneuvering around, but this is Tokyo... you shouldn't spend much time in your room anyway. The bathroom features one of those automatic shower toilets... sorta like a bidet, but more like a carwash – a real treat for us dirty Americans. The shower had a huge rain head and wand attachment, which was situated right in front of a massive picture window ... the views from the shower were amazing! LOL. We also enjoyed free ethernet internet access, but no WiFi (tip: wifi was super rare in Tokyo... head over to the Apple Store on the Ginza strip to sync up)
The lobby was very clean, modern and minimal. The lobby also had a wonderful cafe, which was perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast/coffee before heading out.
I would strongly recommend this hotel. For the price, it is hard to beat.
