I visit Tokyo every year and have stayed at the Kanda Comfort Hotel five times. In my opinion it is excellent value for money and a real 'find'. Rooms have always been very clean, hotel staff very polite and helpful (although their English is limited they will go out of their way to assist),location is secluded but good, a short walk to the Yamanote Kanda Station and a 15 minute walk from Tokyo Station, the free breakfast is plentiful and caters for Asian and Western tastes, free coffee from 15:00 to 24:00, self service laundry facilities, and free wireless in rooms and free internet use on hotel computer.
I have always enjoyed staying here, and think it is a perfect place to stay in Tokyo. However, it is very typically in the category of a Japanese 'business' hotel: the rooms and bathrooms are small and compact; you will need to purchase a television card to access English speaking channels, the lobby is in effect the breakfast area so there are only utilitarian tables and chairs for meetings or for sitting in during the day.
If you want luxury , a restaurant serving meals apart from breakfast, and lots of space you will not be happy here. If you want cleanliness, convenience, comfort and a very competitive price,Kanda Comfort is the place for you
