I stayed here with my Aunt for two nights whilst attending a wedding in the region. The hotel was below basic. There were electric wires hanging from ceiling light and broken shade on wall light, the beds were like camp beds, you had to bend under stairs to sit on toilet and the shower run hot and cold. On leaving we were told we had to pay 95 euros per night and not the advertised 65 euros per night ( or the price stated on the wall of the room as per law in France)as he claimed this was the agreed special rate with the father of the bride (untrue) the owner then threatened us with the police and shouted abuse throwing things towards us at the desk and would not stop (this was after we had paid the full amount demanded and was trying to leave the hotel) even his wife was telling him to stop and making excuses that he was tired. It could also be because he had so many complaints firstly about the price (he was charging everyone 95 euros per night including trying to charge double for a large room with a divider that three people had to share) another person with asthma had mould behind her bed, another had bed bugs and anyone who dared complain or question his pricing was met with the same abuse and police threats. One girl said this hotel was worse than any of the third world hostels that she had stayed in. Only book in here if there is no other choice, You have been warned!
