Super old house converted to hotel, antique furniture and atmosphere. Beautiful gardens and pool. Rather off the beaten track - you will need a car. Breakfast good, evening meal - homely. More restaurants in centre of town, you will need to drive and we didnt fancy the very very very windy roads at night. In summer shouldnt be a problem.
Would definately return.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a walking holiday booked with Inntravel. The hotel is located on the NW coast in a small valley near Agaete, its location is stunning set quietly on the side of the valley in its own estate of orange and avocado groves.
The building is an amazing old colonial style house with courtyard and lovely outside seating areas.
We received a great welcome on arrival, the room we checked into was ok, however we discovered on the first night it was above the boiler house so rather hot and noisy, so not a great nights sleep (Room 6). After mentioning this to reception we were eventually moved to a quieter room, but only after becoming insistant that we were not happy. The young lady did handle the situation very well and was charming in ensuring that we were then happy.
Breakfast was really good, fresh juice, bread, cheese, meats, yogurts and homemade cake. Dinner on our first night was good, a set menu but tasty and well cooked. However the second dinner we had was not so good. I would suggest eating out on some nights. there is a local basic restaurant within walking distance and plenty of fish restaurants in Puerto de las Nieves a 10 minute drive away.
The hotel is in a really lovely location, good for walking and 10 minutes from the sea. We would definately return . Also has a lovely pool, you could just stay at the hotel all day.

We spent a couple of nights here and wished it were longer. Our room was large, airy and comfortable with a good bathroom. The hotel, in an old colonial house, is beautifully restored. When we stayed there was a lovely scent of orange blossom, which we won't forget for a long time. The hotel is set in its own gardens.

Breakfast was good, in a beautiful dining room. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with lots of interesting old photos and artifacts. We went down to the nearby harbour - five minutes by car - for lunch and dinner.

The room was very clean when we arrived but housekeeping was pretty perfunctory on our second day. Staff however were all very friendly and helpful.

There is a great mountain walk, starting out from the next village and rising up into the forests, with amazing views on the way. Afterwards we relaxed in a really nice pool area.

Only real problem was dogs in a neighbouring property keeping us awake at night on the first night - bring earplugs/wine..
