The hotel is located just outside the city centre of Santander but only 4 stops
from Santander central station and the hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Bezana station.
Around the corner from the hotel is a supermarket (which like many things in Spain though are not opened on Sundays)
When we arrived we were quickly checked in and went off to our rooms.
The standard of the rooms is quite good and some of the rooms are equipped with
mini fridges, as this is a 3 star hotel, airconditioning is not provided.
However the hotel does provide fans in the rooms.
Personally, I don´t know how hot Santander will get in height of summer but if is anywhere near Madrid, not sure how comfortable a room without airconditioning would be...
Breakfast is provided in the cafe attached to the hotel and is a simple but nice continental breakfast:
- A (Large) warmed up croissant or toast with butter and marmelade.
- A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice
- Hot chocolate or coffee.
We stayed there on a Friday for 2 nights and only saw 1 other party while there so during our stay the hotel was definitely not very busy...
There is plenty of parking in front of the hotel so if you´re driving like we were, no problem at all and it is for free.
The rooms we were given were clean and spacious and the beds firm and comfy.
Overall, I can honestly say I had a very comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel if you manage to get a good deal on it.
