It's hard to find fault with our stay. The reception staff were efficient and helpful, speaking excellent English. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and lovely and warm. The shower was both hot and powerful and the cubicle spacious. All this at a budget price and my dog was also welcome for €7 per night. Parking was outside both the Ibis & Etap hotels and seemed safe enough.

Tip: I suggest using the GPS co-ordinates from the accor hotels website to find all the companys hotels as it makes finding them so much easier.

Only one little criticism, after checking out we noticed that we had been charged for a bottle of wine which had also been charged on our meal, not a problem, sometimes these little errors occur.

Good hotel if you need to stop over near Alicante airport. You will need transport if you want to go into the centre of Alicante. Staff really helpful and there is a meal service available. Very basic and clean hotel. Very good for the price.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Alicante, around 3miles from the city centre.

Plus points:

1) Cheap hotel
2) One computer in lobby for guest use (unknown cost for internet access)
3) Very friendly, helpful, multi-lingual, reception staff
4) There is ample free parking
5) Room (situated at back of hotel) insulated from road noise

Negative points:

1) If you do not have a car, you need to take a taxi into town or to and from the airport. The hotel is just off a major road with no suitable footpaths. I ended up walking to the hotel from the bus stop and it was extremely frightening, walking inches away from the high-speed traffic. It took us almost 4hours of queuing at a taxi rank to get a ride back to the hotel.
2) Very basic room

If you don't mind the hassle of having to take taxis (costing around €10 one-way) then this hotel could make for a good value stay in Alicante.
