Stayed here in may 2010 courtesy of easyjet after they cancelled our flight.
The staff were friendly and check in was fast, The lifts in the hotel require a room key to operate so this give a sence of security.
The rooms were of reasonable size and comfortably furnished with a king size bed sofa an lcd tv with international channels and mini bar, free wifi was available in all areas. The bathrooms were well equiped with a hairdryer and lots of free branded personal hygene products. The rooms and public areas were clean and tidy.
The restaraunt serves continental breakfast with coffee tea and fruit juices.
The hotel is located 50m from the marina and beaches across the main road, There are plenty of good restaraunts nearby as well as shops and bars.
Check out was at 12pm but our flights were not untill 10pm the staff took our luggage from us and sealed them with tamperproof plastic tags and kept them for us while we enjoyed our day in alicante upon return to the hotel they called taxi's for us to the airport and returned our luggage a nice touch.

We booked into this hotel for 5 nights after our flights were cancelled due to volcano eruption. The receptionist Jorge, was extremely helpful with regards to information regarding the flights. The room was quite long, and the beds were against the wall of the corridor, so you could hear people working by, the floor was panelled, you would have thought it would have been carpeted to keep the noise down. The bathroom was quite spacious. We tried to put the air con on, but for some reason, it was only blowing warm air, which is always my pet hate in Spain, just because the Spaniards think its cold that everyone else does! We were on a high floor, which seemed to make the noise outside worse, it must travel up the building. The locals must come out about 1am in the morning, and we were kept awake all night by their shouting. The breakfast was fine, the staff coped really well considering the amount of people who were staying there, constantly bringing more food out. We checked out after 1 night, as the noise was too much for us.

I booked this hotel for one night out of necessity, through laterooms, because I had an early flight on the Saturday morning from Alicante. Therefore I wasn't particularly looking for luxury and didn't wish to spend a lot of money.
However, I wasn't impressed by this hotel at all, the room was small, the bed was small and lodged between the bedside tables, and the bath was tiny. When I went to shut the curtains to get undressed, it became apparent that the curtains don't actually close!! I therefore had to improvise with two hairgrips to keep them closed. The view from the room was a wall covered with graffiti, the air conditioning/climate control didn't work and the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in.
Despite all this the location was great for the beach, harbour, bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was also fairly decent.

Went for a remantic break with my husband for his birthday. Bedrooms small but clean, average breakfast (all cold buffet), some staff friendly, internet not working, air con on/off, street noise is awful, we were kept awake for most of the night from noise outside the hotel and unfortunately inside from other guests returning at 4:30 in the morning and arguing in the corridors! Would not stay in this hotel again because of noise levels from street. Hotel has a great location for beach, shoping, bars and restaurants.
