“IF THE HOTEL WAS IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION IT WOULD BE FINE!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2010

Partner and i stayed for two nights for halloween and night after. Pulled up to hotel in taxi and first impressions are very poor, Hotel is situated on what looks like a run down 1970's council estate, its a tower block of say 8 floors and hotel occupies 3 of those floors. Room was tiny even though we upgraded to a superior, nice view out to sea from balcony and nice view of peoples garages too! Hotel has outside pool but just for use in the summer. Staff in bar are extremely slow and food is pants, they served me a pizza which was still frozen in the middle and a cold toasted sandwich so dont expect too much, although they are helpful.Taxi into alicante marina costs 10 euro but only 5 euro to come back (they charge extra to pick u up) nearest tram stop is a 7 minute walk and station is called la isleta, this tram runs into central alicante and also goes to places like benidorm (40 mins away) if you fancy a day out, tram costs apx 2 euros. There are a couple of tinchy beaches outside hotel but i wouldnt want to chill out there as they dont look very clean! best beaches are in alicante city (10 mins away) or jump on tram for 8 minute journey to muchavista beach - stunning and very clean! This hotel is ideal for a one night stay but definatley dont recommend for a holiday hotel, there are much nicer hotels in alicante centre.

“Hotel OK - but don't expect too much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2010

We have just spent one night at this hotel. It is about 10min away from Alicante's city center, very easy to reach by bus or tramvia.
The room was clean, but furniture is quite old.
Breakfast was included but the quality was not very good. If you like good spanish coffee better don't try the coffee they offer. The supposed to be fresh orange juices was mixed with water. The best was the croissant - really good taste.
It would have been an better option to take the small breakfast for 3EUR including coffee (from a normal bar coffee machine), a toast with fresh tomato or some sweet bread and orange juice.
The beaches near the hotel are small but ok. We had a great swim there. Water is clean (specially in the morning).
It's a hotel for one night but not more days.

“Nice hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2010

I rate this hotel as good value for money, and I much prefer this hotel for a hotel located in the city area. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is very fine. The hotel is close to the see, and it's fine to swim from little creaks 100-200 meters away from the hotel. Small restaurants and bars can be found at the beach area too. I enjoyed the quiet very much, especially during the nights. Best of all are the balconies, where you can spend lovely evenings. To reach Alicante, you can either catch a bus from the street, which lies above the level of the hotel, or you can take a 30 minutes walk along the road. This is not especially nice for walking however. There's a lovely beach around 1 km north of the hotel.

“Sunny and relaxing stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2010

The whole hotel is very nice, very well located, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and nice. The breakfast was very good. The tennis courts have a view to the sea, they are incredible and also the gymnasium has them, amazing!. We would certainly return again.
Very advisable.
