Partner and i stayed for two nights for halloween and night after. Pulled up to hotel in taxi and first impressions are very poor, Hotel is situated on what looks like a run down 1970's council estate, its a tower block of say 8 floors and hotel occupies 3 of those floors. Room was tiny even though we upgraded to a superior, nice view out to sea from balcony and nice view of peoples garages too! Hotel has outside pool but just for use in the summer. Staff in bar are extremely slow and food is pants, they served me a pizza which was still frozen in the middle and a cold toasted sandwich so dont expect too much, although they are helpful.Taxi into alicante marina costs 10 euro but only 5 euro to come back (they charge extra to pick u up) nearest tram stop is a 7 minute walk and station is called la isleta, this tram runs into central alicante and also goes to places like benidorm (40 mins away) if you fancy a day out, tram costs apx 2 euros. There are a couple of tinchy beaches outside hotel but i wouldnt want to chill out there as they dont look very clean! best beaches are in alicante city (10 mins away) or jump on tram for 8 minute journey to muchavista beach - stunning and very clean! This hotel is ideal for a one night stay but definatley dont recommend for a holiday hotel, there are much nicer hotels in alicante centre.
