Two nights in a cheap 'n cheerful hotel, pretty well located in the centre of Town. Very helpful staff, happy to accomodate swarms of travelling Scots (Scotland v Spain that week) but no hiding a pretty basic 70's-style hotel.
Faults? Well, they were grim little rooms with balconys facing the street if you were lucky and the side of the adjacent building if you weren't. No wi-fi in the rooms - the signal didn't reach there - but it was free to pick up in the dinky reception area. The four person lift gives up after three people step inside and the street outside can be a bit noisy at times.
Plus's? Good air-con and fan, powerful shower (though one of the smallest I've ever encountered!) and it is clean.
Would I go there again? For £40 a night in a the centre of a great City like this, yeah why not!
