Beach is a ten minute stroll from the hotel and I guess the (now closed) sea front restaurants provide a good choice in the summer. However if you want to enjoy the nightlife of Alicante make sure you hire a car!
Hotel is clean and the staff very friendly. Free parking and internet in your room. beds are comfortable and the restaurant looks nice.
Perhaps the IHG should look to spend a little money on the hotel as corridor carpets are showing their sign of age now. Also bathroom sealants have seen better days.

Cheap hotel, good if you're just looking for a comfortable place where to sleep, 10minutes away from the beach, better than the small pool who's always too busy...
You better rent a car/or scooter if you choose this hotel, caused you'll be pretty far from town and the night-life of alicante!!!!
So an easy-going hotel to recommand more for young travelers without much money than for families...

Overall the stay was nice except for the dining experience i had during my stay at here... The fish that i had wasnt fresh and it tasted fishy, service was good only the food was disappointing

Stayed for seven nights whilst on holiday in the area. Room was of a good size, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Complimentary wi-fi worked well in the room and was a most welcome added benefit. The hotel is well situated in a safe area, amongst other residential apartments and houses. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast at the hotel was good and to a standard one would expect from the Holiday Inn group generally. The beautiful San Juan beach is a leisurely 10 minute stroll from the hotel. The resort itself is fairly quiet and gives the impression of being a safe, relaxed area with several good standard restaurants and bars. I would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel again and would recommend it to friends etc.
