Had a fantastic relaxing break with my good friend. Spent most of the time by the pool. Breakfast good, bar staff friendly (serve very tasty margarita's), reception staff friendly, quality evening meal, room perfectly adequate. Would definately go back!! :o)

Had a wonderful 4 day break. Staff very friendly - room clean, views excellent. Beach just down some steps from hotel - and was just lovely - quiet, clean and good ammenities. Food in hotel was good - breakfast all you would want. Lunch and dinner quite pricey at 33 Euros a head - but a ten minute walk along the front and you can choose many places for half that price. Taxi to airport 25 Euros and 20 mns. tram into Alicant for Eros 1.20, take a taxi back for 11 Euros. A perfect place to stay - many Spanish Guests - always a good sign - also not a disco or night-club in sight or sound.

I have just returned from a 4 day break at Sidi San Juan Hotel with two friends. It was great, and i'd stay there again if I went back to Alicante. The breakfast choice was huge, and the views across the beach were lovely. The pool was rather small for such a large hotel, but when you have such a great beach right in front for you to play on then why bother with the pool. Playa San Juan is so big no one ever will be sat on top of you taking up your personal space. The rooms could probably do with an update & a new lick of paint but when we only used it for sleeping in & having a shower then it wasn't something that we were bothered about. We ate out every night. The bars & restaurants are a 10min walk away, along the Promenade. Very yummy, cheap & we found everyone very friendly & helpful. You can take a taxi into the Old Town Alicante for a meal & night out too, it's only 20mins away.

This is our 2nd trip to this hotel on the lovely Playa de San Juan beach close to Alicante. The hotel has 5 stars and although this does not mean it compares to a Capital City 5 star example it is in an excellent location with all the facilities you would wish and with a friendly helpful staff. It is also about 7 miles from the centre of Alicante, which you can reach by bus, tram or taxi. The airport is only a 20 minute taxi ride and so it is great for a rapid transit and start to your holiday break. It is a relaxing without the hustle, bustle of a city centre hotel. All in highly recommended
