This hotel is in Santa Cruz - a little town very close to La Coruna. It is right on the beach with a view out across the bay of Coruna. It is set inside its own small bay which has a small island in the centre where a 16th Century fort is, which you can walk across to and look around for free.
The hotel itself is very nice inside. The pool which looks out over the beach is fantastic. The breakfast was lovely - a wide range for a Continental breakfast. The hotel staff were helpful and polite and the rooms spacious and clean.
Basically this is a hotel which represents good value for money for those who want easy access to a beach and pool. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants in Santa Cruz, as well as Coruna costing next to nothing to reach by taxi. In Coruna the night life never stops (especially in the bars around the port) and so you can certainly burn off any energy you've built up by lazing around on te beach.
