We stayed at Hotel Herbeira with our two children in July and I have to say that we absolutely loved it! Carmen and Luis, the proprietors are extremely good and efficient managers/hosts - they made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating towards our children.
The rooms are lovely - clean and pretty spacious, even for four of us - the little alcove part that you see on the website photos are where they put the two beds for the children. I would imagine for just two adults the rooms are really spacious. The bathrooms are particularly fantastic - in fact I could have slept in it!
Breakfast is very simple, uncomplicated and very good quality - lovely coffee.
The area the hotel is in is also good - it's walkable into Cedeira itself, no need really to bring a car but with regard to the area in general and for getting to beaches one would definitely need a car. The beaches are simply magnificent, totally unspoilt and very clean with good facilities. If you don't want an excessively sunny, hot holiday (which we didn't) in a quiet area and an excellent hotel then Cedeira is for you!
