We stayed at this B&B on route to Antibes, France and were very disappointed to say the least! As soon as we entered our room, we were literally bowled over by the smell of wet dog. I assured my boyfriend this was just the smell of an old house (trying to lighten the situation), but had to laugh as the owner ran into our room behind us blasting a can of air freshener under the bed. Seconds later a dog comes racing out and she continues "freshening" our room with the air spray! In general the interior was old and dingey, dusty and rundown. Was kind of like staying in a haunted house to be honest!. Bed lumpy and creaked every time one moved. Electricity was on some type of timer so lights would turn off after about 10 minutes - was really annoying when one was in the bathroom (shared bathroom by the way). The website promised something about bountiful breakfast featuring local specialities??!! How about packaged croissants (Italian version of the Hostess Twinkie I would guess), canned pineapple rings and stale bread?? Fellow travellers - this is one place to avoid unless you are looking to explore the "hood" of Quiliano. Town is shabby and rundown too - seems to be the location of a huge electricity plant which sits as a gigantic eyesore in the middle of the town - very picturesque...NOT!!!
