“Unique Hotel at a Reasonable Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Lake Como, it turned out to be a great choice not only location wise (only 30km from Como) but as a very comfortable 4* hotel with well appointed rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. We had breakfast both mornings and it was of a high standard, although we didn't dine in the main Restaurant it was beautifully decorated but the dinner menu was expensive.

Room Tip: Standard Rooms are a bit small

“Love the hotel and great design”

This is a very interesting hotel, the design aspects are really stunning and every room I have stayed in over the past years have been different. The staff is really nice and the food in the hotel is absolutely delicious!

“A perfect "boutique" hotel with real history...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

My wife and our daughter spent four (4) great nights here in August, the staff on arrival were perfect, the rooms great, the outdoor pool excellent and the dining superb, this is a real slice of Italy with feeling. We are already thinking about our next trip. The location is great, a short walk to a nice little town and then the train station one stop away from the very historic Bergamo, this is a must see for anybody travelling to this part of Italy. All in all a wonderful stay and ready to go back soon.

“We loved it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

We used the Settecento as a base from which to explore Lake Como and Milan...... I would have happily spent my 4 days lounging around the stylish hotel and pool. The staff on reception were helpful and knowlegable. Breakfast was great. Would definately stay here again.

“Really nice hotel that feels almost new”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

We just stayed at this hotel recently which i booked off a different site. It was advertised as a hotel in Milan but to my shock it was actually in a remote town, one hour away by train to Milan and 10 mins to Bergamo (a close tourist area)
However really enjoyed the stay there as it was a beautiful hotel but I do recommend you only stay there if your prepared to walk 15 mins to the train station or at least have a hire car as there is only one pizza shop and a cafe nearby.
