Took my 90 years young mother to the island for a nostalgic birthday treat. She needed both her wheelchair and walking frame to get around. Christina and Andrew, who are perfect hosts, happily accommodated these aids. Mum used the ground floor bedroom with its fantastic en-suite facilities while I had a very comfortable upstairs room. Bedroom tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities are beautifully arranged with a delightful selection of biscuits evident. Found it hard to emerge from under the soft,warm quilt each morning, but made sure that I idid so that breakfast wasn't missed! What a treat! The cottage is a quiet retreat with superb views and a great base for exploring the island by car.

We stayed with Chris and Andrew for the Manx GP along with our German friends. Chris and Andrew welcomed us into their home and lavished us with care, attention and tasty food. The motorbikes were housed in a warm dry and carpeted garage too and R loved walking straight from our ensuite bathroom into the garage to tinker on his motorbike first thing in the morning. The lounge was comfortable with magnificent views and we were encouraged to stay and relax, which we did, thanks for the Hornblower Dvd collection Andrews and great Ginger cake Chris! We have travelled to a lot of b&bs this year, in europe and cornwall and have to say this is one of the best. Chris's attention to detail was outstanding. Thank you both for a great stay in a beautiful part of the Isle of Man.

Our week in the IOM was the most relaxing week we have ever had in decades of B&Bs.
Quiet location, superb views, top class breakfasts (including kippers), constant hot water, comfortable bed, excellent nights sleep, ginger cake on arrival and the ever helpful, friendly hosts.
Yes, I banged my head on the 4' bathroom door, but that is one of the quirks of a converted cottage.

Just returned from a four night stay with my 9 year old grandson. This place is as near perfect as you could find if you want a wonderful welcome, caring hosts, a lovely room and a stunning location. We came to fish and fish we did but every time we returned to the cottage we were warmly welcomed. We have become addicted to ginger cake! Our room had every facility possible and the shower room was stunning. The cottage is only 10 minutes from beautiful beaches and wonderful walks are available by just stepping out of the door. This is not the place for you if you want any sort of night life but if you love the old world charm of this amazing island you will not find a better place to stay. (And for us the sun shone every day).
