I needed a rest from all the craziness of travelling i went to Trieste to relax and thats i did. What an interesting placing with fantastic views it is different from the city part the part where this Locanda is has the mountains the fresh air, history and fantastic walkways and the staff at this family owned business were so welcoming and the food was fantastic!! Highly recommended!

I recently travelled to Trieste,Italy and wanted a short trip away from the city.....Locanda Marie came very recommended!
In the heart of the mountains i surrounded by serenity and very friendly locals.
With an old train station located up on the hills, the train tracks( which will lead you to the next town) turned into a walking trail, i witnessed breath taking views and fabulous cyclists!!
Its the getaway for your vaction...i plan to revist Locanda Mario soon!
