We found this restaurant with rooms in the Michelin red guide for Italy and stayed here for one night before leaving for Croatia. It has a large outdoor patio, with covered and uncovered seating. It was very hot, so we left our room (no a/c) and sat outside and read our books, drinking the house white wine (very nice).
Dinner was great, fresh veggies, good fish, and a waiter who spoke English, thus saving himself from our terrible Italian. He recommended a great bottle of wine, too.
We liked it so much that we're going back on our way through to Slovenia. Ah, here's to prosecco and fresh food!
