Scandic Hotel in Upplands Väsby - it does not sound very exciting. We chose it just for practical reasons. However, instead of having just a practical stopover we got a memorable stay. The staff was very friendly and caring, thinking about those extra details we forgot to ask for. The outdoor dining terrace was very nice - something we did not expect at this location. The menu and the food was excellent, and at very reasonable prices.

“Scandic 10/2011”
Hotel is well located between Stockholm city and Arlanda Aiorport (ca. 20 minutes away) ditectly at the interstate, large shopping mall around the corner, good breakfast, WiFi is free, reasonable sized room, wooden floors, free parking, taxi stand directly at the hotel is very convenient, convenience shop in the lobby, free newspaper, stay here 1 to 2 times per year,

“Good business hotel”
This is a good business hotel, but don't expect anything fancy. it is in between Arlanda airport and Stickholm. From the airport it takes around 12 minutes by cab, to Stockholm city around 35 minutes. Hotel is a bit outdated. Reception is efficient and friendly. Rooms do not have minibar but there is a shop at reception open 24 hours a day. Rooms are basic, even the suite I upgraded to probably compares to a standard Holiday Inn room. Room was clean and spacious for two but that is it. Breakfast was very good, typical Scandinavian with lots of yogurt, bread and different meats.
All in all quite good for one night.
