We booked a mini suite but their interpretation of a mini suite is really a family room. Comfortable hotel, very luxurious pool area and the staff were excellent (sharif in the bar was fantastic at his job, I spent loads!) The hotel is very close to the railway line which didn't bother me but my wife was a bit put off by the half hourly rattle of the windows? All in all if you can put up with the occaisional train passing this hotel is a real bargain!

nice folks.....free internet (no computer...you need your own laptop). Walkable to small pizzerias and a laundromat. Close to Airport and Verona station

We booked this hotel via Hotels.com, and were a little sceptical arriving, as we have never stayed in a 4* hotel for the price of 50€ per night - double room with breakfast. But it was all just like said on the web site. The hotel is really clean, the breakfast is rich and deverse, the hotel has a nice outside pool and a nice terase.
The staff was also, pleasent and helpfull. E.g. there was this french couple with kids also staying at the hotel, and the stuff whent out of their way to pack a breakfast for kids - to go - as they did not feel like eating in the morinig... and would not take any surrcharge for it.
So, if you're looking for a clean and very pleasent hotel to stay in, while you're visiting Verona, Gardaland and the surroundings , and get a great deal - this is the one!

BUT, a few NOTES: the hotel is NOT in Verona, but in suberbs (only a 15 min. drive to the Verona center) - a small and pictures little town. So, if you are planing a visit using public transportation, and not your own car - this is not the hotel for you!
ALso, BEWARE! If you are using the the navigation sistem to find your way to the hotel, be sure to type in the town the hotel is in, and not Verona, because, there is a street with the same name in the industrial part of Verona, so you may be directed to a completly wrong part of town.
And, one more thing, there is a railway very near to the hotel, and when we set by the pool we could hear and see it pass throu, but at night, in our room we didn't hear anything. I guess the windows are sound proof... But if you are a very light sleeper, take this in to consideration.

We stayed one night on the way back from a holiday in Desenzano as the Hotel is close to Verona Airport with a free shuttle bus. Clean modern with all facilities except tea maker. We took the train from Desenzano to Verona (30 Mins) and the Taxi to the Antico was 8 Euros. The hotel has a small swimming pool & loungers. We had a nice meal in the restaurant & the included breakfast was taken outdoors.
