We (me and my girlfriend) stayed one week in this 2 star hotel, located approx. 50 meters from the Mediterranean sea. Our room had a lovely view of the beach/sea. The room itself appeared clean as well did the bathroom. Bright yellow wallpaper and gray carpets.
After a view nights we noticed red bumps on our bodies, and after a little research we found bedbugs in the bed and on the carpet.
The owner of the hotel (who was shocked seeing red bumps) never heard of bedbugs (punaises des lits) before. His efforts to get rid of the infestation included using bug spray and changing the sheets. Therefor we left the hotel early because we felt very uncomfortably staying in the room.
Concluding: The hotel is everything you would expect from a French 2 star hotel, the bed bugs were an unpleasant surprise.
